Project Description
With our first Tamworth pigs on the way and after a lot of research, we decided on building a 8x8ft pig ark. It was to have a detachable floor and a corrugated steel roof. It was also supposed to be a mobile shelter that could be easily towed to its new location in the future.
Only time will tell, whether this seemingly durable structure will withstand the winter weather and indeed the powerful and curious pigs!
After filling it with fresh straw, it was ready for new arrivals.
