Project Description
Our smallholding would not be the same without the geese. They are loud, talk over you, talk back whenever you say anything to them. They are also very sociable, friendly, inquisitive, love the company and a chat. They are the best guard dogs ever! Full of charisma and a bit of an attitude, they make us laugh every day.
Embden geese (with a bit of Chinese goose in them) joined us as chubby little goslings in May 2018. They climbed on top of you, pulled your clothes and pecked your fingers. Within 3 months they changed into beautiful massive birds that can be intimidating to some. But fear not, it’s just their curiosity and chatty nature, they won’t do a thing!
